our mission

SUCCESS MANTHRA makes learning fun, especially when learning a language that is not one’s own – in this case English. Our pedagogy is sound. Our content is simple yet thought-provoking. Our delivery is entertaining. Our mission is to make the language class an entertainment and enlightenment zone. By doing so, we want to reach out to as many students as possible and make them English literates, so that they can participate in the global marketplace, without losing out on the opportunities that their English knowing peers enjoy.

Our Manthras

Teach as you would like to be taught

Teaching, like parenting, is all about personality. The autocratic, the easy-going and the democratic. The ideal teacher is one who is all three, all at once. Students, like children, are demanding, sensitive, unreasonable. The trick is to make them listen not just to the lesson, but to their inner voices.

Training is not taming

Trainees are as different as the performers you see in a circus. You have the lion, the clown, the trapeze artist, the hippo, the jugglers: all unique, all have to be trained. The lessons are common, but the learning is individualistic.

Content is king

Like in the story, “The Three Little Pigs,” you can build three types of houses: out of straw, out of sticks or out of stone. We all know which house took the huff and the puff. Training-teaching materials should be like stone houses: strong, structured and solid.

I think students have benefited immensely from this course in basic English. It is also evident from the feedback received from the students. I'm particularly happy to learn that you have thoroughly enjoyed teaching this course and enthusiastic about continuing your association with our institute and in contributing to the overall development of students in the future.

S. Venkatesh
Director IFBI - NIIT

Success Manthra has developed content for us in English Language skills and effective business communication. These are taught as part of our career programs in banking. The courses developed by them are well designed, extremely learner centric, seamlessly transit from simple to complex, apart from being domain relevant and absorbing for the learner. We compliment them for their contribution to our programs and are very confident that our students will immensely benefit from this.

Prof. Shreesh Chaudhary
Professor of English & Linguistics - IIT Madras

Success Manthra is a young group. Yet it has some unusual achievements already. It has hired highly qualified and skilled faculty who agreed to teach some slow learners. Time has been another constraint that they have dealt with admirably. At my institute, they were given thirty-two hours only within which to teach writing and speaking skills to a large group of students. The group accepted the challenge and used the activity method of teaching. Students were allowed to form groups and were given a choice of tasks, from making short documentaries to presenting visual illustrations for poems, etc. This approach had a miraculous effect upon the students, and the presentation they gave at the end of the 32 hours spread over four months was breathtaking. An English teacher was heard saying he wished he had been a student here. The Dean of Academic Courses, who sat through the presentation, was so moved that he advised these students to upload the entire presentation material upon the institute's website. I have seen no other group teaching English in difficult situations in a better manner and more effectively. I am hopeful Success Manthra can answer our need for quality teaching at a massive scale and will conquer higher peaks.
